First lady Michelle Obama welcomed the White House Christmas tree on Friday alongside presidential pooches Sunny and Bo.

{mosads}The tree, a Fraser fir, stands at 18-and-a-half feet tall and will be placed on display in the Blue Room at the White House during the holiday season.

The tree comes from a farm in Lansdale, Pa., and was presented to the first lady by the farm’s owners, Jay and Glenn Bustard. The White House said members of the National Christmas Tree Association have presented the official White House Christmas Tree since 1966.

The Christmas season is officially upon us. Let the caroling begin!
