Members of the Irish parliament will discuss petitions calling for Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump to be barred from entering the country, according to the Irish newspaper The Journal.

The Joint Committee on Public Service Oversight and Petitions, which handles such proposals from the public, is slated to address two petitions to ban the business mogul in the next several weeks.

{mosads}The petitions — titled “Ban Donald Trump from Ireland” and “Ban Donald Trump from entering Ireland” — are not expected to gain any traction. According to the report, procedural rules dictate that a petition is inadmissible if it “contains the name or names of individuals.”

The committee is also expected to address a petition to have Ultimate Fighting Championship star Conor McGregor’s face on the nation’s €1 coin.

The petitions are in response to Trump’s proposal to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the United States, which Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny said was “not acceptable.”
