Jeb Bush returns to speaking circuit
Former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.) is rejoining the speaking circuit after his failed run for the White House, according to the Washington Speakers Bureau.
The organization announced Wednesday that it is exclusively representing Bush, calling him a “unifying leader who brings civility to the discussion of bi-partisan viewpoints.”
{mosads}“Whether leading transformation efforts on issues of importance like education, healthcare and immigration, or managing crisis response to the eight hurricanes that hit Florida during his time in office, Bush understands how organizations can literally be blown apart by the winds of change,” the bureau said in a statement.
Bush is no stranger to the speaking circuit. He raked in more than $1.82 million from 47 speeches between January 2014 and March 2015.
Bush ended his bid for president in February after a poor showing in the South Carolina primary, despite raising millions of dollars through the Bush family network and having the backing of wealthy super-PACs.
Bush never seemed to find his footing and was eventually overshadowed by GOP front-runner Donald Trump, who mocked him for being a “low-energy” candidate.
He endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) earlier this month.
