WATCH: Libertarian John McAfee’s quick-cutting, ‘Simpsons’-referencing campaign ad

Libertarian presidential candidate John McAfee on Friday released an unusual five-minute campaign ad imploring voters to reject the two major parties.

The ad begins with a scene from the film “Sereny” featuring schoolchildren being brainwashed. It follows with a series of clips portraying the current political climate as broken.

{mosads}In quick cuts with pulsing techno music, the video shows a Defense Department representative speaking, mixed with violent footage. It runs through clips of Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton and presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump, interspersing images of former President George W. Bush with Trump.

At one point, the video shows a scene from the TV show “The Simpsons,” where a citizen threatens to vote for a third-party candidate and aliens Kang and Kodos laughingly reply, “Go ahead, throw your vote away.”

“Kill politics so it can be reborn,” reads text in the video. “Be a Libertarian.”
