Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered his condolences to the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando in a video released Wednesday.

Netanyahu called the attack, which claimed 49 lives and sent 53 to the hospital, “radical Islamic terror,” and said it was an example of broader attacks against the LGBT community.

{mosads}The FBI says that 29-year-old Omar Mateen apparently targeted the club for the attack, and was killed as he engaged police officers who stormed the popular nightspot while trying to save more patrons.

Netanyahu closed his statement calling for support for the LGBT population, saying, “comfort them, tell them you stand together, we stand together as one, and that you will always remember the victims.”
