Former President Clinton had dinner last weekend with Mark Cuban, the celebrity businessman who has inserted himself into the 2016 presidential race.

The dinner was described as casual and came on the heels of the former president’s fundraising swing through the West Coast, The New York Times reported on Wednesday.

{mosads}The newspaper reported that the dinner took place at the Los Angeles home of Hollywood agent and Hillary Clinton bundler Michael Kives.

Bill Clinton had dinner with the Dallas Mavericks owner and “a group of friends and interesting folks,” an aide told CNN, adding that the former president and Cuban “know each other well.”

The pair attended a basketball game together previously, and spoke at a presidential leadership scholars’s event in Dallas last year with George W. Bush.

Clinton and Cuban spoke at the dinner for an extended period about politics, business and philanthropy, according to sources cited by the Times.

Musician Stevie Wonder and actors Bryan Cranston and Ted Danson were among those in attendance, according to the reports.

Cuban, an outspoken billionaire, has repeatedly weighed in on the presidential election, often with jabs at presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump.

Last month, Cuban said he’d “absolutely” be open to being Hillary Clinton’s running mate, before adding, “She’d have to go more to the center.”
