Donald Trump on Thursday said an attack in Nice, France, that has killed dozens shows the fight against terrorism is getting worse.

A truck filled with arms and explosives drove into a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day Thursday, killing dozens.

Trump has postponed his scheduled running mate announcement, which was set for 11 a.m. Friday.

{mosads}Trump said in a Fox News interview later Thursday terrorist organizations are creating increasingly violent schemes.

“It sounds like here we go again,” he said. “We’re living in a whole different world. There’s no respect for law and order.

“This is crazy what’s going on,” the presumptive GOP presidential nominee added. “It’s a horrible thing. It’s bedlam … We have to get awfully tough and we have to get smart or we’re not going to have a society, we’re not going to have a world anymore.”

Trump said he would sharply restrict immigration from countries with likely terrorist ties in the wake of the massacre.

“This has to be dealt with very harshly,” he said. “I’d be making it very, very hard for people to come into our country from terrorist countries.”

“Our country has tremendous problems,” Trump continued. “We don’t need any more problems. What are we doing? We’re trying to so nice, we’re trying to be so civil.

“I would be so extreme in terms of documentation. It only takes one or two people to create havoc.”

The billionaire businessman added President Obama must confront radical Islam if it is the ultimate cause of the attack in Nice.

“If it is radical Islamic terrorism, it’s about time he said so. If it’s radical Islamic terrorism, he ought to say it. People would sigh with relief if he said that,” Trump said.

He also said that he would ask Congress for a declaration of war in a later appearance on “The O’Reilly Factor” and said despite his past criticisms of NATO, he would mobilize the alliance in the fight against terrorism.

“We are supporting NATO and we should at least get something out of it, and getting rid of ISIS and getting rid of this cancer that we’re watching all over the world, that certainly would be a good thing, a good thing for NATO to be involved in,” Trump said.
