Widow of Benghazi victim criticizes Clinton

Dorothy Woods, the widow of an American killed in the 2012 terror attacks in Benghazi, says former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is unfit to be commander in chief.

Woods, whose husband, Tyrone Woods, was one of four U.S. citizens killed in the attack, told Hugh Hewitt that Clinton should have admitted she was wrong on how she handled the situation in Libya.

{mosads}“I teach my 4-year-old son to admit when you’re wrong, to say you’re sorry, and how are you going to fix it. To be honest with you, Hugh, if Hillary Clinton had done these three things regarding Benghazi, I wouldn’t be talking to you today,” she said.

“But she is — but Hillary Clinton cannot do what parents all over the country do to teach their kids right versus wrong,” she continued. “So she cannot fundamentally be our commander in chief. You know, it’s that simple.”

Woods also criticized Clinton for advising the country to “move on” following this summer’s report on Benghazi by a House committee.

“It’s characteristic Clinton. It’s characteristic Obama,” Woods said, referring to the president.

“You know, ‘Let’s go ahead and sweep that under the rug. It doesn’t suit what I am, the narrative I’m trying to present about myself.’ … Nobody can tell me to move on. Nobody can tell me how to feel. Nobody can tell me how to think about it.”

The father of Tyrone Woods, a CIA contractor, backed Cinton’s rival, Republican Donald Trump, for president this week.

Trump has come under criticism from Democrats and Republicans alike for his attacks on Khizr and Ghazala Kahn, whose son was killed during the Iraq War.
