Ex-Miss Teen USA: ‘I never had a bad experience’ with Trump

A former Miss Teen USA says Donald Trump was never inappropriate around her or other beauty pageant contestants.

“I never had a bad experience with him,” Katie Blair told TMZ in an interview published Thursday. “I have great respect for him as a boss, as a businessman.

{mosads}“As far as the rumors surrounding him coming into the backstage and things like that, dressing rooms, absolutely not. I never experienced that. I don’t know anyone who has.”

Blair’s comments come as multiple women have come forward accusing Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, of unwanted kisses and groping. Other allegations claim that Trump walked into beauty pageant dressing rooms while contestants were changing.

The claims come on the heels of a 2005 tape made public last week that captured Trump discussing his failed sexual advances on a married woman and touching women without consent.

Trump has fiercely denied the allegations, calling one report a “total fabrication” and another an incident that “did not happen.”

He’s also threatened lawsuits against publications, including The New York Times, over the reports.

Blair, who won Miss Teen USA in 2006, said the contest’s setup would make it hard for Trump to have been backstage with the contestants.

“As far as backstage goes, you’re talking about a live production here,” she said. “There’s literally no time, no space. He’s not putzing around back there while girls are just stark naked.

“At the end of the day, you’re in a beauty pageant. You are there to be judged for your looks. If you’re there and you’re not expecting to be judged by the person who owns it, that’s your own misconception.”

Blair also said she is voting for Trump — but only to keep Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton out of the White House.

“By no means should my vote be mistaken for voting Trump,” she said.

“I am voting, one, so that’s one less vote in Hillary’s favor, and two, because there are two options, and he is the other option. I’ll vote for the Republican candidate who is on the ballot at the time of the vote.”
