Donald Trump said his supporters shouldn’t believe the People magazine writer who accused him of pushing her against a wall in 2005 and kissing her without consent, saying “look at her, look at her words.”

Trump slammed former People writer Natasha Stoynoff and the other women who have come out to accuse him of sexual harassment or assault over the past 24 hours as he spoke to a crowd in West Palm Beach, Fla.

{mosads}Trump said the accusations would have been in the story, which focused on his and Melania Trump’s marriage, if they were true.

“Why wasn’t it part of the story that appeared 12 years ago? Why didn’t they make it part of the story? I was one of the biggest stars on television with ‘The Apprentice.’ It would have been one of the biggest stories of the year,” Trump said.

“The area was a public area, people all over the place. You take a look, look at her, look at her words, you tell me. I don’t think so.”

Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, diminished the various accusations during the fiery speech, calling the stories the work of the “Clinton machine” that wants to keep the global elites in power.

The speech comes days after the release of 2005 audio in which Trump discussed groping and kissing women without their consent. Trump denied during Sunday’s presidential debate that he had ever touched women without consent, but many of the alleged victims point to those comments as their reason for deciding to speak out.

People magazine published Stoynoff’s story Wednesday night, just hours after three women laid out similar claims in The New York Times and The Palm Beach Post.

Trump said the stories are complete falsehoods and said he will share proof of his innocence at the “appropriate time.”

“These vicious claims about me, of inappropriate conduct with women, are totally and absolutely false, and the Clintons know it. They know it very well,” he said.

“These claims are all fabricated. They are pure fiction and outright lies.”
