Trump campaign CEO does not deny Trump TV possibility
Donald Trump’s campaign CEO did not contest rumors that a Trump television network is a possibility in an interview published Wednesday.
“Trump is an entrepreneur,” Steve Bannon told CNN on two occasions during the interview when the subject of the network was raised.
{mosads}Reports surfaced earlier this week that Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, had begun talks about a TV network.
Though he did not give a definitive answer, Bannon, the former executive chairman of Breitbart News, emphasized Trump’s reach on social media in the interview.
“They’ll go live on Facebook and get a million viewers,” he said.
Trump has previously denied that he has any plans to begin a media venture.
“I want to win the presidency, and I want to make America great again. It’s very simple,” the Republican presidential nominee said last month in an interview with The Washington Post. “I have no interest in a media company. False rumor.”
