Clinton focuses on Hispanic voters in final days
Hillary Clinton is making a last-second push for Hispanic voters in Arizona and Nevada with a series of new ads and campaign events.
{mosads}The Democratic presidential nominee’s ad campaign will feature English- and Spanish-language ads across TV, radio and digital platforms in the two battleground states.
The ad buy will spotlight Latino voters across the country who are taking a stand against Republican nominee Donald Trump’s rhetoric on minorities, according to the campaign.
Clinton is appearing at events in both Arizona and Nevada on Wednesday. In addition, the campaign is sending Bill Clinton and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) to Nevada in the coming days, and Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine will appear in Arizona on Thursday.
Clinton is trailing Trump by less than 1 point in Nevada, according to a poll average. The state has flipped between the two parties in recent elections, with President Obama carrying it in both 2008 and 2012.
Trump also holds a 1.5-point lead in Arizona, a state that has gone red in the 15 of the last 16 presidential elections. Clinton is in line for the best showing in the state by a Democrat in two decades.
Trump will campaign throughout the battleground state of Florida on Wednesday.
