Bill O’Reilly says he is not interested in discussing fellow Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly’s accusation that former CEO Roger Ailes sexually harassed her.

“I want to be very candid here — I’m not interested in this,” he said on “CBS This Morning” Tuesday when asked about Kelly’s new book, “Settle for More.”

{mosads}“I’m not interested in basically litigating something that is finished that makes my network look bad, OK?” O’Reilly added. “I’m not interested in making my network look bad at all. That doesn’t interest me one bit.

“I’m trying to stay out of any of that kind of stuff. It doesn’t pertain to my life. It’s a very tough book environment. We’ll see if people respond to it.”

O’Reilly also said he is frustrated by critics pouncing on any potentially damaging information about Fox to attack the network.

“It’s open season, let’s whack the Fox News Channel. I’ve had enough of it. It’s a good place to work, alright? We do good work, honest work there. So I’m not going to buy into let’s use the Fox News Channel as a piñata. I don’t think it is right.”

O’Reilly added he has not read Kelly’s new book, which was released Tuesday, but wishes her well.

“She’s a very smart woman. It’s not a diss. It just came out, so I’ll look at it. I didn’t even know I was in the book.”

Kelly on Tuesday said Ailes tried kissing her three times while she was renegotiating her contract with Fox.

Ailes resigned as chairman and chief executive of the network in July following allegations of sexual harassment from former anchor Gretchen Carlson.

Fox, on behalf of Ailes, settled with Carlson for $20 million in September amid negative headlines about his past treatment of female employees there.

Ailes on Monday told The Washington Post he “categorically” denies Kelly’s account of his behavior.
