Obama and Coburn to meet in Oval Office Weds.
President Obama will meet with a political foe and personal friend, Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) at the White House tomorrow.
The White House announced Tuesday night that Obama and Coburn will meet in the Oval Office late tomorrow morning. There was no indication as to what the two former Senate colleagues would discuss during their meeting.
Coburn has spoken openly of his friendship with Obama, saying the two had struck a chord as freshmen senators in 2004.
