WATCH: GOP rep: Trump’s claims of wiretapping ‘absolutely’ plausible
Conservative Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) said Thursday he “absolutely” thinks President Trump’s accusations that President Obama wiretapped Trump Tower during the campaign are believable.
He also said an independent investigation into allegations of Russian interference in the presidential election “wouldn’t hurt,” given the number of Obama administration holdovers at the Department of Justice.
