Steelman forming exploratory committee
Former Missouri Treasurer Sarah Steelman, who is a cinch to run for Senate in Missouri, is taking her first official steps.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:
A source close to Sarah Steelman told the Political Fix today that the former state treasurer has enlisted Washington, D.C., lawyer Ben Ginsberg to form an exploratory committee for a run for U.S. Senate.
The Post-Dispatch notes that Steelman also has a website up already, and even though it doesn’t denote a Senate run, it links to a few social networking pages that do.
