• Roberti Global: Irizarry Klein Roberti hired GOP lobbyist Drew Cole. He comes from QGA Public Affairs, where he served for eight years, and worked at DCI Group prior to that.
• Carrie Hartgen joined the Association for Accessible Medicines as vice president for state government affairs. She most recently held a senior role at AdvaMed, a trade group for the medical device industry.
• The Policy Resolution Group, the lobbying firm within the law firm Bracewell, hired Christine Wyman as senior counsel. Before that, she worked as senior counsel for the American Gas Association. Wyman had also worked at Bracewell earlier in her career.
• Sally Painter, the co-founder and chief operating officer of Blue Star Strategies, has joined the board at the Atlantic Council, a nonprofit group focused on international security. Painter served as deputy director of the Commerce Department’s Office of Business Liaison during the Clinton administration, and after that, she served as director of international at Tenneco.
• Fierce Government Relations is bringing on Eric Zulkosky, who most recently served as the director of member services and as policy adviser to House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.). He has been with Scalise for more than six years, including in his personal office.
• Mark Lippert is now the vice president of international government affairs at Boeing. Before that, he served as ambassador to South Korea and held several senior positions in the executive branch and Capitol Hill, including chief of staff for then-Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and chief of staff for the National Security Council.
• Jeff Langer, who served as the assistant director to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from 2014 to 2016, has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as counsel within its financial services practice.
• Former Sens. Trent Lott (R-Miss.) and Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) have become honorary co-chairmen of the Henry Clay Center for Statesmanship, a nonprofit “dedicated to educating a new generation of leaders in the essential skills of negotiation, dialogue, and compromise in the spirit and legacy of the great Kentucky statesman and politician.” Lott helps run the lobbying arm of Squire Patton Boggs, and Daschle runs his own lobbying and consulting firm, the Daschle Group.
