Trump jokes about ‘covfefe’ tweet: ‘Who can figure out the true meaning’
President Trump on Wednesday joked about what appeared to be an unfinished tweet he sent out with a typo.
The new tweet included the word “covfefe,” which became the No. 1 trend on Twitter across the U.S. early Wednesday morning following the president’s original tweet.
“Who can figure out the true meaning of ‘covfefe’ ??? Enjoy!” Trump tweeted Wednesday.

Trump originally tweeted: “Despite the constant negative press covfefe.”
That tweet was deleted shortly before 6 a.m.
{mosads}Many Twitter users quickly checked if “covfefe” was a word, and the lack of definition led many to invent a meaning for the word.
The original tweet had more than 10,000 reactions in just a half hour.
Twitter users also quickly joked about the president’s second tweet, coming up with different explanations for the word.
