President Trump said on Saturday that he is “disappointed” in China for not doing more to rein in North Korea.

“I am very disappointed in China. Our foolish past leaders have allowed them to make hundreds of billions of dollars a year in trade, yet they do NOTHING for us with North Korea, just talk,” Trump wrote in a pair of tweets. “We will no longer allow this to continue. China could easily solve this problem!

Trump’s tweets came a day after Pyongyang conducted its latest test of an intercontinental ballistic missile that it says is capable of striking the mainland United States.

The test on Friday came less than a month after North Korea conducted its first successful test of an ICBM, signaling a milestone in its stated goal of striking the U.S. with a nuclear-tipped missile.

Trump has vowed to put pressure on China to do more to curb Pyongyang’s rapidly advancing programs, but has appeared to sour on the idea in recent months.
