Graham: I would urge Trump to talk more about the fallen soldiers
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Sunday said that President Trump should talk more about the four U.S. soldiers who were killed in Niger earlier this month, instead of continuing his war of words with Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.).
“I would just urge President Trump, let’s talk a little bit about the four soldiers. How about a little time on who they were and why they did what they did, and all those like them,” Graham told NBC’s Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press.”
{mosads}Graham’s comments come as the president continues to dispute with Wilson the nature of his phone call to the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, who was one of the soldiers killed in Niger.
Wilson said last week Trump had made insensitive remarks to Johnson’s widow when he told her that her late husband “knew what he signed up for … but when it happens it hurts anyway.”
Trump immediately hit back at Wilson, accusing her of fabricating what was said on the phone call.
The president lashed out at Wilson again in a tweet on Saturday, saying she was “killing the Democrat party.”
I hope the Fake News Media keeps talking about Wacky Congresswoman Wilson in that she, as a representative, is killing the Democrat Party!

Trump notably did not tweet about Johnson on Saturday, the day of his funeral in south Florida.
