Donovan McNabb, Eric Davis won’t return to ESPN after harassment probe

Former NFL stars Donovan McNabb and Eric Davis will not return to ESPN following investigations into sexual harassment allegations against the two men.

Multiple media outlets reported that ESPN has severed its ties to McNabb and Davis, who were named in a sexual harassment lawsuit filed last month against the NFL Network by a former wardrobe stylist, Jami Cantor.

ESPN suspended McNabb and Davis last month while it investigated the allegations in the lawsuit.

McNabb, a former quarterback who worked as an analyst for ESPN Radio, allegedly sent inappropriate text messages to Cantor, according to the lawsuit.

Davis, a former NFL cornerback and host on ESPN 710 in Los Angeles, allegedly touched Cantor inappropriately and made lewd comments to her.

Sports Business Daily first reported on Friday that McNabb and Davis would not return to ESPN following the investigation.

ESPN’s ouster of the two former athletes comes as a growing number of women come forward with allegations against high-profile men in business, entertainment, media and beyond. 

The allegations have led to a number of prominent figures in various industries resigning or being fired from their posts.
