More Disputed Coleman-Franken Ballots

More disputed ballots in the recount of Minnesota’s Senate race have made their way onto the Internet.

On Thursday, Minnesota Public Radio posted ballots that seemed indicate clear votes for either Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) or Democrat Al Franken but were challenged by recount observers anyways.

MPR has posted more of them, a couple of which you can see below.

The Franken campaign challenged the following ballot, arguing that the ‘X’ mark over Coleman’s bubble indicated the voter’s attempt to cross out a vote.

A Coleman observer flagged the following ballot, noting that Franken’s bubble was filled using a pencil while the bubble for president was filled by pen.

At the start of Friday, Coleman led Franken by 136 votes. The Republican had a 215-vote lead before the recount started.
