Poll: Melania is the most popular Trump
First lady Melania Trump is the most popular member of the Trump family, according to a new Economist/YouGov poll released Friday.
Melania Trump has a 48 percent favorable and 33 percent unfavorable rating, the survey finds, while President Trump was rated 43 percent favorably and 52 percent unfavorably.
First daughter Ivanka Trump has 41 percent favorable and 42 percent unfavorable ratings. Her husband, fellow White House adviser Jared Kushner was rated favorably by 25 percent and unfavorably by 44 percent.
{mosads}Donald Trump Jr. rated 36 percent favorable and 49 percent unfavorable, while Eric Trump rated 32 percent favorable and 43 percent unfavorable. President Trump’s two oldest sons took over the family’s business dealings before their father took office.
The poll was released one day before the first anniversary of Trump’s inauguration. Trump ended his first year in office with the lowest approval rating of any first-year president in decades, according to an NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll.
Melania Trump’s popularity grew through her first year as first lady, an earlier poll found. A Gallup poll in December showed Melania Trump with a 54-percent favorability rating — up 17 points from January 2017, when she had a 37 percent favorability in the same poll.
