Former Trump aide Omarosa to appear on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’
Omarosa Manigault Newman, a former aide to President Trump, will be one of the contestants on the next season of “Celebrity Big Brother,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Manigault Newman will join “American Pie” star Shannon Elizabeth, Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath and former child actress Keshia Knight Pulliam on the show, which chronicles the day-to-day life of a group of celebrities living together under one roof, according to the Reporter.

Manigault Newman formally left the White House in January under a cloud of controversy. A former contestant on “The Apprentice,” the reality show hosted by Trump, she was one of the president’s most prominent African-American supporters. But she reportedly clashed with — and was forced out by — chief of staff John Kelly.
CBS News reported in December that she had set off White House alarms after trying to gain access to the residence following her alleged firing.
Manigault Newsman denied the reports, and said she observed things during her tenure in the Trump administration “that I was very unhappy with, that I was very uncomfortable with.”
She said, however, that she believes Trump tried his best as president.
“Did President Trump try? I think that he tried in his own way. There are things that he could have done and things that this administration needs to continue to do to try to bring this country together,” she said.
Trump later thanked her on Twitter for her service, wishing her “continued success.”
