Woman tells police she had child with Steve Wynn after he raped her in 1970s
A woman recently told police she had a child with casino mogul and former Republican National Committee (RNC) finance chairman Steve Wynn after he raped her in the early 1970s, The Associated Press reported Tuesday.
The woman claimed she gave birth to a girl after Wynn raped her in her Chicago apartment, according to a police report obtained by the AP.
Another police report included a claim from a woman who said she had consensual sex with Wynn while working in Las Vegas, but was fired when she declined his advances in 1976.

Two women lodged complaints earlier this month with the Las Vegas Police Department alleging Wynn sexually assaulted them decades earlier. Their claims came shortly after multiple allegations of sexual misconduct against Wynn surfaced.
The Las Vegas case will not be investigated, as the statute of limitations in Nevada is 20 years. The other complaint was forwarded to police in Chicago.
“Mr. Wynn has never been supplied with these unsubstantiated accounts or the names of these accusers by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department,” a spokesman said in a statement to The Hill. “It’s revolting that the media repeated such inflammatory claims from events that supposedly occurred four decades ago without the slightest bit of fact-checking or skepticism.”
The Wall Street Journal reported in January allegations that Wynn had engaged in a pattern of sexual misconduct spanning decades.
The Journal reported that Wynn has been accused of sexually harassing Wynn Resort employees and that he agreed to pay a $7.5 million settlement to a manicurist at one of his hotels who said he pressured her to have sex with him.
Wynn has denied the allegations, but stepped down as RNC finance chairman and as CEO of Wynn Resorts.
Democrats have forcefully called for Republicans to return donations from Wynn, but the RNC said last month it would only give back the money if investigations find him guilty of wrongdoing.
