A Pennsylvania state legislator reportedly has been accused of sexual assault and threatening behavior by two women.

A complaint filed with the state House of Representatives alleges that Rep. Nick Miccarelli (R) threatened to kill one woman and forced a different woman to have sex with him, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Miccarelli reportedly dated both of the women between 2012 and 2014. One is a state official, and the other is a political consultant. Neither was named in the complaint, which was filed last month.

Pennsylvania House leaders are reportedly investigating the allegations, which Miccarelli has denied to the Inquirer and in a post on his Facebook page.

“Unfortunately, I cannot disprove something that never happened, but I can tell you that these allegations, if true, would have been reported to the cops, the DA, or another law enforcement agency,” Miccarelli wrote in the Facebook post. “No charges were ever filed because these are complete fabrications.”

The women said they did not go to police when the incidents occurred because they feared for their safety and careers.

The state official accused Miccarelli of physical abuse and threatening behavior, claiming that he once threatened her with a gun and said he would kill her.

{mosads}She said he would kick, pinch and hit her, and was physically abusive even when attending official events together.

Her lawyer told The Associated Press that she attached a note to her life insurance policy noting that Miccarelli should be investigated if something happened to her.

The second woman accused Miccarelli of mental and physical abuse, and said he forced her to have sex with him after their relationship ended, and held her neck during the encounter. She also alleged that he drugged her at least once during their relationship, and had nonconsensual sex with her.

The women also said they believe Miccarelli carries a firearm into the State Capitol and asked that he be barred from doing so.
