Queen Elizabeth likens Trump to noisy helicopter

Queen Elizabeth II is comparing President Trump to a noisy helicopter, quipping that the commander in chief goes “round and round when you want to talk.”

The British monarch made the crack while filming a documentary at Buckingham Palace about her love of trees for the United Kingdom’s ITV.

In a clip released Tuesday, the queen was taking a quiet stroll in the garden at the royal abode with documentary host David Attenborough, when their interview was suddenly interrupted by loud aircrafts hovering overhead.

“Why do they go round and round when you want to talk?” Elizabeth exclaimed.

“Sounds like President Trump,” she deadpanned. “Or President Obama.”

The 91-year-old royal family matriarch has never given a press interview. According to the British royal family’s official website, as head of state, the queen “has to remain strictly neutral with respect to political matters, unable to vote or stand for election.”

Trump had reportedly requested a ride with Elizabeth in a gold-plated carriage — a tradition that isn’t entirely unusual — during a planned visit to the United Kingdom last year, which was ultimately postponed. He said in a January interview that he will likely make a state visit, which will include a meeting with Elizabeth, in October.
