Trump resort in Scotland pays women less than men: report
President Trump’s premier Scottish golfing resort pays women significantly less than men, while men occupy more than four times the number of executive positions in the company as women.
An internal report of the Trump Turnberry company compiled in March found an overall gender pay gap for females of 13.69 percent, according to The Scotsman.
Female leaders at the club, owned and operated by Trump’s sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump since the beginning of his presidency, also suffer a bonus pay gap of more than 1,400 British Pounds (more than $1,800) compared to men, a difference of 53.5 percent.

The new statistics, which The Scotsman reports as being perhaps the first conclusive data from an individual Trump company, showed no difference in median gender pay gap between male and female employees at Turnberry, showing the pay gap is largely made up by the dominance of men in high-paid positions.
A spokesperson for the company told the paper that the differences are “due to the number of senior leadership roles undertaken by males,” and “reflective of the male-dominated functions present in a golf resort.”
Turnberry insisted that it takes steps to ensure fair payment between the two genders for equivalent jobs.
As with many Trump Organization properties, Turnberry has received thousands of dollars from the U.S. government for housing officials and other VIP guests since Trump took office.
Trump frequently visits his family’s luxury golf resorts in New Jersey and Florida. He has termed his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida as “the Winter White House.”
