Former House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) celebrated Labor Day by posting a video of himself singing one of his favorite songs while sitting behind the wheel of his family’s RV.

In a short video posted Monday morning, the former congressman sings “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah” while an aide records the congressman driving down an unnamed highway.

“Had a great summer. Hope you did, too. #LaborDayWeekend #America #FreedomOne,” Boehner wrote, apparently referring to the name given to the RV.

Boehner departed the House in late 2015 and has remained relatively quiet in the months since President Trump was elected last year.

But in May, he offered criticism of the GOP, saying it had been taken over by Trump.

“There is no Republican Party. There’s a Trump party. The Republican Party is kinda taking a nap somewhere,” Boehner said at the time.

Boehner has been largely supportive of the president’s policies, however, calling some of the Trump administration’s policy actions “really good” in the same interview in May.

“If you peel away the noise and the tweets, the things that he’s doing are really good things,” Boehner said.
