I’m a breaking news reporter for The Hill covering a wide range of stories that touch on Congress, foreign affairs, state politics and more.
Prior to joining The Hill last September, I served as a Washington correspondent, where I covered Arizona politics while earning my Master’s degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. I’m originally from Denver and attended the University of Colorado Boulder for my undergraduate education. I studied journalism and political science. I served as editor-in-chief of the student paper, The Bold, on campus and completed several local news internships.
I enjoy social justice reporting and have spent time working on diversity, immigration and prison labor pieces. I have also covered business, campaigns, education and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. I most enjoy people-driven politics stories.
