DOJ, DHS leaders announce human rights enforcement actions: Watch live
Leaders from the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security are slated to hold a press briefing Wednesday morning to announce additional actions to help enforce human rights.
Here is who is expected to attend:
- Attorney General Merrick Garland
- Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas
- FBI Director Christopher Wray
- Nicole M. Argentieri, acting assistant attorney general for the Criminal Division
- U.S. Attorney Jessica Aber for the Eastern District of Virginia
- Staci Barrera, senior official performing the duties of the deputy director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EST.
