Trump lashes out at Democrats who alleged collusion, including ‘Little pencilneck Adam Schiff’
President Trump lashed out against Democrats who alleged collusion between his campaign and Russia at a Michigan rally Thursday night.
The comments come just days after special counsel Robert Mueller announced the end of his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
“Many people were badly hurt by this scam. But more importantly, our country was hurt. Our country was hurt,” Trump said in Grand Rapids.
“And they’re on artificial respirators right now,” Trump continued, referring to Democratic lawmakers who said there was evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
“They’re getting mouth to mouth resuscitation. Little pencil neck Adam Schiff,” Trump said. “He’s got the smallest, thinnest neck I’ve ever seen. He is not a long ball hitter.”
{mosads}Earlier this week, Schiff said he believes evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia “undoubtedly” exists and can be found by his committee.
But a summary of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation said there was not evidence to support that conclusion.
“These are sick people and there has to be some accountability because its all lies,” Trump said.
Shortly after, the president also took aim at House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), saying: “Jerry Nadler. I’ve been fighting him for many years.
“For many years, he was the congressman from Manhattan. I built great things in Manhattan. I had to beat him many, many times,” he continued.
“Now, I come here, I have to beat him again, can you believe it,” the president said.
Trump then went on to imitate Nadler, saying: “I want every record in the history of the Trump organization. Every single sheet of paper.”
“And what do you have to justify that,” Trump asks openly.
“Nothing. It doesn’t matter. We’ll find something somewhere along the line, a mistake must have been made,” Trump says, continuing to imitate Nadler.
Trump’s remarks come several days after Nadler said his committee will seek the full report from special counsel Mueller’s Russia investigation within the next few months and is willing to take the demand to the Supreme Court.
