“The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon parodied popular country rap hit “Old Town Road” on Monday dressed as Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in a remix dubbed “Old Town Hall.”

Fallon brought back his impression of the 2020 presidential candidate by wearing Sanders’s traditional suit and tie and a wig reminiscent of Sanders’s hair and singing a parodied version of the hit Lil Nas X song.

“I’m gonna talk to voters at the old town hall / I’m gonna tell ’em we don’t need no wall / I’m gonna rant and rave about billionaires / ain’t gonna take a break to comb my hair,” Fallon sings.{mosads}

Fallon then goes on to rap “Everybody’s asking somethin’/ But I can’t hear nothin’,” a playful jab at Sanders’s age. Sanders, 77, is the oldest of all Democratic presidential candidates and, if elected, would be the oldest president in U.S. history.

The sketch, shot in sepia tone, also took a shot at Sanders’s recently disclosed wealth.

“Loved by all the children, worth a couple million,” Fallon, as Sanders, raps.

Other jokes played on Sanders’s policy stances and loyal following.

“I got money in the stacks / Forget your super PACs / Bernie bros in back / You would think this is a frat, now.”

The parody drew the attention of the song’s original artist, Lil Nas X, who tweeted “no f—in way.”

Fallon thanked the rapper for the original and congratulated the artist on the success of the track in a post on Twitter.

Fallon’s sketch came after Sanders appeared in a CNN presidential town hall Monday night.
