Former President Trump is projected to win American Samoa’s Republican caucus, according to Decision Desk HQ. Trump earned all 110 votes cast, according to Decision Desk HQ.

American Samoa awards nine delegates on the Republican side. Since former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley has dropped out of the race, the U.S. territory was anticipated to go for Trump.

Earlier this week, American Samoa held its Democratic caucus, which led to a surprising upset. An ultra longshot Democratic contender, Jason Palmer, won the caucus over President Biden — the first time Biden had lost a Democratic nominating contest this cycle.

The U.S. territory awards six delegates on the Democratic side and is hardly expected to make a dent in Biden’s lead as he’s all but expected to become the Democratic presidential nominee.
