Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders attended a retreat hosted by the Republican Governors Association (RGA) on Sunday, fueling rumors that she may run for governor in her home state of Arkansas, Politico reported.

Sanders made an appearance at a dinner hosted by the family of Fred Malek, a late GOP donor and RGA finance chairman. The dinner marked the beginning of a two-day retreat in Aspen, Colo., which will draw Republican governors and donors from across the country, according to Politico. Sanders is not scheduled to speak at the retreat.

In his tweet announcing Sanders’s departure from the White House last month, President Trump called on her to run for governor in Arkansas.

“She is a very special person with extraordinary talents, who has done an incredible job! I hope she decides to run for Governor of Arkansas – she would be fantastic. Sarah, thank you for a job well done!” Trump tweeted last month.

{mosads}Sanders retweeted Trump’s post and did not comment on the gubernatorial race, saying it was “time for us to go home” and that “the most important job I’ll ever have is being a mom to my kids.”

Trump also called Sanders on stage at a campaign rally in Orlando, Fla., last month, telling the crowd she is a “warrior” who would make a strong governor.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R), Sanders’s father, said she does not know whether she wants to enter the race during a radio appearance with host Hugh Hewett.

“She doesn’t know. I mean, that’s the honest answer,” Huckabee said. “The truth is, she has not had time to come up for air in the past three years. So she’s going to take some time to get her kids enrolled in school in Arkansas for the fall, go to vacation, just have some downtime — which is something she hasn’t done. And, you know, then she’ll start exploring.”
