Ann Coulter singles out Klobuchar during Democratic debate: She is ‘killing it’

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter slammed Democratic presidential candidates onstage for Thursday night’s primary debate — with the exception of Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.).

“I hate everyone on the stage, but Sen. Klobuchar is killing it,” Coulter tweeted during the showdown.

Klobuchar garnered applause after she criticized Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) for his health care proposal.

The Minnesota senator fired back at Sanders, who went viral during the last Democratic presidential debate for saying he “wrote the damn bill,” by saying she actually “read the bill,” which would cause many Americans to potentially lose coverage.{mosads}

In her opening statement, Klobuchar was one of multiple candidates to blast President Trump, saying the president is “running our country like a game show.”

“You’re going to hear a lot of ideas up here,” she added during her opening remarks. “Some will be great, but if you see that some of them might be a little off track, I’ve got a better way. If you feel stuck in the middle of the extremes of our politics, and you are tired of the noise and the nonsense, you’ve got a home with me.

“I don’t want to be the president for half of America,” she said. “I want to be the president for all of America.”
