Scaramucci: Trump is ‘gone’ and ‘done’
Anthony Scaramucci, a former aide to President Trump who is now a high-profile critic, predicted Tuesday is it only a matter of time now before his former boss leaves office.
“He is gone. It’s only a matter of time now and negotiation. @realDonaldTrump is done,” Scaramucci, who for less than two weeks served as Trump’s communications director at the White House, wrote in a tweet.
He is gone. It’s only a matter of time now and negotiation. @realDonaldTrump is done.

The tweet came a short time after reports circulated that Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is set to launch a formal impeachment inquiry against the president after rejecting such an effort for months.
{mosads}Calls from Democrats to impeach Trump snowballed on Tuesday over allegations that Trump withheld military aid to Ukraine while pressuring that country’s leader to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.
Trump has denied any quid pro quo but offered to release a transcript of his call with Ukraine’s president. Democrats want to see a whistleblower’s complaint that was filed by someone within the administration after the July 25 call.
Scaramucci has been an outspoken critic of Trump for months. Last month, he announced in an interview that he was putting together “a team of people,” including former Cabinet members, to oppose Trump, calling him “unstable.”
Earlier in August he alleged that “eventually [Trump] turns on everyone and soon it will be you and then the entire country,” responding to a tweet from the president calling him “totally incapable of handling” his position at the White House.
For the last 3 years I have fully supported this President. Recently he has said things that divide the country in a way that is unacceptable. So I didn’t pass the 100% litmus test. Eventually he turns on everyone and soon it will be you and then the entire country. https://t.co/BUvwujc6LW
