Democrat hits Trump for past criticism of ‘foul language’ after ‘bulls—‘ tweet
A Virginia House Democrat took aim at President Trump on Wednesday for his past criticism of Democrats using foul language after Trump used similar language in a recent tweet.
Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.) tweeted that Trump was “pretending to be terribly offended whenever women of color used ‘foul language’ ” only to himself embrace such language in a tweet regarding House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry.

Trump attacked Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) earlier this year for comments she was seen making on video at an event in Washington, D.C., where the Michigan congresswoman vowed to “impeach the motherf—er,” referring to Trump.{mosads}
“When your son looks at you and says, ‘Momma, look, you won. Bullies don’t win.’ And I said, ‘Baby, they don’t.’ Because we’re going to go in there and impeach the motherf—er,” she told a crowd in January.
“I thought her comments were disgraceful,” Trump told reporters at an event in the Rose Garden, adding that Tlaib’s remarks were “disgraceful” to her family.
Tlaib’s comments at the time were also condemned by some Democrats, including Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), who called for civility in response.
“You cannot accomplish very much of anything unless you have civility and show respect for your colleagues. And I think those kind of comments do not take us in the right direction,” he said.
