3 dead after shooting at California house party
A shooting at a house party in Long Beach, Calif., on Tuesday night left three people dead and nine others injured, police said.
Authorities responded to the shooting around 10:45 p.m. local time and found three men dead, Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer De Prez told The Hill on Wednesday.
{mosads}Seven women and two men, ranging in age from 20 to 49, were treated at the scene and then transported to local hospitals, De Prez said.
The suspect or suspects remain at large.
“There is no suspect information available at this time,” De Prez said, adding that detectives have conducted interviews and are investigating the incident.

De Prez said the investigation is “ongoing” and detectives are canvassing the area to collect more witness testimony and security footage.
The New York Times reported victims were found both inside and outside the home. The shooting appeared to be the third mass shooting in California this year, according to the newspaper.
