California Governor Newsom and family dress as 2020 Democrats for Halloween
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and his family appeared to dress as 2020 Democratic presidential candidates to celebrate Halloween.
Newsom tweeted a video of himself and his wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, and their four children holding signs and wearing pins to represent their individual candidates. Newsom appeared to dress as former Vice President Joe Biden in a suit and tie.
Siebel Newsom, a filmmaker, dressed in a red jacket as Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), and the couple’s children dressed as South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Sens. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
{mosads} The couple’s four children are Montana, 10; Hunter, 8; Brooklynn, 6; and Dutch, 3.
The “Bernie Sanders” of the group can be heard yelling “billionaires and millionaires!” in the video.

Last year, the Newsom family took a less political approach to Halloween, dressing up as classic “Star Wars” characters.

But Newsom did tweet a video last Halloween casting President Trump as well as other Republican politicians, like former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and GOP Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Mitch McConnell (Ky.) as zombies, with Californians rejecting “their lies, their fear, their hate” ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.
