European airline EasyJet is reportedly encouraging its staff to use more gender inclusive language during flights.

A spokesperson for the low-cost airline told CNN Travel that the phrase “ladies and gentlemen” has not been banned, but rather the company is providing guidance on other options.

“We want our crew to be welcoming to everyone on board, so [we] have provided some guidance to them on how best to do that in a way that is inclusive for everyone,” a spokesperson for the airline told the news outlet.

A spokesperson for EasyJet was not immediately available for comment when contacted by The Hill Thursday morning.

Air Canada announced it would be opting for more gender inclusive terms in October, according to CTV News, and earlier this month American Airlines confirmed that it is allowing customers to choose nonbinary gender options while booking.

United Airlines added a similar nonbinary gender booking option in March.
