Hill.TV’s Krystal Ball predicts alleged efforts to stop Sanders will fail

Hill.TV host Krystal Ball claimed Thursday that “there’s a lot of activity” to stop Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) from winning the Democratic primary nomination.

But Ball maintained that these efforts will ultimately fail, arguing that Sanders is “the most trusted candidate” in the Democratic field, particularly on top issues like climate change and health care.

Sanders allies have long railed against the media over what they characterize as unfair coverage of his campaign, citing biased reporting as a key factor. They have also claimed that the media tends to focus on negative rather than the positive news surrounding Sanders.
