Trump vows to ‘unleash hell’ on Harris at Atlanta rally

Former President Trump vowed to “unleash hell” at his rally Saturday in Atlanta, targeting his new opponent, Vice President Harris, just days after thousands rallied for her in Georgia.

“24 HOURS UNTIL WE UNLEASH HELL,” began Trump’s campaign email sent Friday afternoon. “At this time tomorrow, Crooked Kamala’s worst nightmares come true.”

His running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), will join him at Georgia State University’s Convocation Center.

The former president said he plans to take the stage in “DEEP BLUE Atlanta” and be greeted by thousands of “MAGA Patriots.” When he does so, he said Harris won’t be able to hide from the fact that the Republicans are “making a BIG play for every city left behind by her DANGEROUSLY LIBERAL AGENDA.”

On Tuesday in the critical swing state, Harris rallied an enthusiastic crowd, building off the excitement generated from the start of her campaign.

She noted the importance of Georgia both in the last election and the upcoming one, saying the “path to the White House runs right through this state, and you all helped us win in 2020, and we’re going to do it again in 2024.”

Two popular Black rappers, Quavo and Megan Thee Stallion, took the stage before Harris and urged the audience to show up for the vice president in November.

During her remarks, Harris directly targeted Trump over issues like border security. In his email, the former president hinted he will criticize Harris over her role in the Biden administration’s immigration policy.

“Tomorrow I step on stage and deliver Open Border Czar Kamala Harris the WORST defeat of her failed political career,” Trump said.

The Hill has reached out to the Harris and Trump campaigns.
