Watch live: Pelosi holds press conference following Trump impeachment acquittal
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is set to take questions from reporters Thursday morning, a day after the Senate acquitted President Trump on two impeachment charges surrounding his dealings with Ukraine.
The press conference also comes as tensions between the president and Pelosi reached new heights following Tuesday’s State of the Union address. Trump appeared to ignore Pelosi’s handshake offer at the onset of his address, and Pelosi tore up a copy of his speech before the cameras as he wrapped up.
The Speaker is scheduled to begin at 10:45 a.m.
