Medical and scientific professionals are set to testify before the House Science, Space and Technology Committee on Thursday morning.
The hearing comes just a day after the House passed nearly $8 billion in emergency funding to combat the virus. The Senate is set to consider the funding later Thursday.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
