Hill.TV host Saagar Enjeti called out ABC News on Thursday for their suspension of veteran correspondent David Wright.
Project Veritas, which routinely releases undercover videos meant to embarrass members of the media, politicians or liberal groups, released a clip of Wright criticizing his network. In the clip, Wright said ABC News is not “terribly interested in voters” when it comes to covering the 2020 presidential election. Project Veritas has been criticized for releasing videos that have been selectively edited.
Enjeti slammed the network’s suspension of the Emmy-winning correspondent, comparing it to their response to another Project Veritas video release< /a>that shows ABC “Good Morning America” anchor Amy Robach caught on a hot mic criticizing her network for not running her reporting on Jeffrey Epstein three years ago, there was no suspension and no one was fired.
