White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will brief reporters at the White House Monday in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene that left parts of North Carolina, Florida and Georgia devastated with flooding and structural damage.
The briefing also comes as turmoil in the Middle East continues to escalate with Israeli strikes in and around Beirut over the weekend that took out a chunk of Hezbollah’s leadership, including its top commander.
The briefing is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. EDT.
