Fox Business to host town hall with Trump economic adviser Kudlow on coronavirus economic impact

Fox Business announced on Thursday it will host a virtual town hall Thursday afternoon that will focus on “the latest information regarding stimulus bills and answer viewer questions surrounding the impact on small business as well as rising unemployment.”

The one-hour broadcast, called “America Works Together,” will be led by “Making Money” host Charles Payne and includes White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow. Fox Business contributor Brian Brenberg, small business adviser Gene Marks and UBS financial adviser Tracy Byrnes will also join the town hall “to discuss the economic impact and growing financial concerns of individuals and small business owners during the coronavirus pandemic.”

Audience members will join the town hall through remote video conference, with viewers also submitting written and video questions for consideration, per the network.

The event comes as Kudlow told “Fox & Friends” that the president is aiming to reopen the U.S. economy potentially in “four to eight weeks,” but only after top U.S. health experts give the green light to do so. 

“President Trump is working hand in glove with the private sector, the free enterprise private sector. This is not a total government-run operation,” Kudlow said. 

“We are doing what we can to keep people going, to just get them through this period and so we can come back on the other side and America can return to business and prosperity and the blue-collar boom,” he later added.
