President Trump joined tech billionaire and adviser Elon Musk on Tuesday at the White House, where he bought a Tesla vehicle.

“I’m gonna buy because number one, it’s a great product. As good as it gets. Number two, because this man [Elon Musk] has devoted his energy and his life to doing this, and I think he has been treated unfairly,” Trump told reporters.

Several vehicles, including a Cybertruck, were parked outside the White House Tuesday. The president also discussed with reporters the war in Ukraine, his tariffs on Canada and Mexico, and Musk’s role in his administration.
