Mary Miller was a pro-Trump candidate who ran on being a conservative voice for Illinois.
Miller, who will represent Illinois’s 15th District, is a mother of seven and grandmother of seventeen. She’s a grain and cattle farmer, and she and her husband have run their family farm, based in Oakland, Ill., for 40 years. She also teaches Sunday school and vacation Bible school.
She is pro-life, pro-Second Amendment and pro-border security.
“I’m the candidate that will take our Midwest values to Washington, D.C., to fight against radical, left-wing Democrats who want to destroy America,” she says on her campaign website.
She endorsed the Trump administration’s tax bill and vowed to fight to make the tax cuts permanent. She also ran on lowering the cost of health care through free market solutions and stands with Trump on building a wall at the southern border.
